Mental Health Awareness Month

Today begins Mental Health Awareness Month. The status of our own mental health is of great importance. Whether or not we want to acknowledge it, this is just as important as our physical health. Both need our attention and both need to be checked on and treated for what it needs as often as possible. In fact, waking up in our "right mind" is something that many of us take for granted. The right state of mind may mean many things to many different people. For me, it is simply feeling thankful and grateful for first waking up and then to be in a state of mind where I'm thinking positively about myself, the day to come and that it is one of peace, calm and is as productive as it possibly can be. Remember: SELF-CARE IS NOT SELFISH!
